The orchestra, like most arts organizations, runs on a tight budget and relies on much goodwill from its volunteers. The OCO has been a recipient of grants from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Town of Oakville Cultural grants, and sponsorships from private individuals and Oakville businesses, recognizing the great musical value the OCO brings to our town. The raised funds cover an honorarium for our exceptional Music Director and our General Manager, insurance, rental of facilities, printing and advertising costs.

In an effort to diversify our financial support and to develop greater stability as the organization matures, we seek additional friends -corporate and private- who, with their pledged donation to the OCO, bolster the cultural richness of Oakville.
