Serving Oakville for over 30 years, the OCO enriches the cultural landscape of Oakville by providing intimate and immersive chamber concerts at affordable ticket prices, with a focus on up-and-coming young musicians and Canadian soloists. We perform regularly in our community (six concerts across three concert weekends per year) and we also perform at charity, private and corporate events.
OCO is a registered charity with running costs, such as rental of rehearsal and concert space, and hiring our professional conductor and soloists. Advertising revenue brings us welcome financial support!
Our audience is strongly Oakville-based, mature in age, and above average socio-economically. We also draw a loyal audience from Mississauga, and Burlington. Average attendance per concert weekend is 250 to 400 people. Season attendance is approximately 1000 on average, and growing.
Our professionally designed and printed concert programs include the orchestra’s repertoire and conductor’s notes. The programs are read extensively throughout the concert by audience members who then take them home as mementos. You gain access to a captive target audience.
Your advertisement will also be featured on our web site. Our website receives 30,000+ page views per year. Our Facebook page has some 6000 fans, our Twitter page has some 2000 followers and our Instagram page has 2000+ likes.
